Welcome to St John The Baptist, Isleworth
St John's is a warm and loving place in the community where people from all over the world get a very warm welcome.

We have a loyal and, in many cases, long serving congregation, yet also one with an increasing number of young families. A thriving Sunday School meets in the hall at the same time as the main (10 am) service with children joining the congregation at the communion. Children play a regular part in the services. We have links with Isleworth Town School who share in the use of our church building each term as well as with our church schools (The Green and The Blue) where we are represented on the Governing Bodies.
Our church hall is very well used by a pre-school group each weekday morning and various other groups for dance, karate, etc in the evenings and at weekends.
As well as our need for regular giving for the maintenance of our ministry and buildings (mainly through the Stewardship Scheme), we try to meet the needs of others. We are twinned with the parish of Ngofi in Northern Mozambique which we support on a regular basis; are active in the work of Christian Aid and of the Welcare Group supporting local families in need.
Although many people highly value the friendships and sense of community they get from St John's, it is also a place to be close to God on a personal level. In today's world, money drives our lives and whilst we will strive both to fund raise for St John's and to build up its role in the local community, we also remember the vital role it has in so many people's lives.
We are committed towards keeping St John's as a place of witness to the Gospel of our Lord as we have done for over 150 years.
