Welcome to St John The Baptist, Isleworth

Since I was appointed as the Priest in Charge in June 2011, I feel in a very good position to tell you a bit about St John's.

My wife Joanna and I quickly became aware of the genuine warmth and affection of the church – and its strong 'family feel'.

It is a church where there is lots of scope for participating. Anyone who knows Isleworth (which we didn’t before we moved from Central London) will tell you how 'villagy' it is and it truly is!

Schools, shops, pubs, businesses, and churches who really do work together all contribute to this.

St John’s has already been around for 157 years and I am really looking forward to playing my part in developing things in this next phase.

I would love to tell you about the plans we have, which I think are exciting, in the hope you will become part of them too.

I very much look forward to welcoming you either on a Sunday at 10.00am, or some other time at the Vicarage.
